I recently sold it and now want to work at home on our small farm of 11 acres located in northwest Edmonson County, KY. I read with great interest the information on your web site. I have
been studying and contemplating a Blueberry operation for over a year now. I have always been interested and have a passion for horticulture. This past season my family and I started a small produce business (www.sunnypointgardens.com).
My wife and I are 57 years old, our two
daughters are now married and have children of their own. It would be wonderful to have a profitable farming operation that I could hand down to my grandchildren some day! Would it be possible to visit your operation? Of course I am in need of plants! I would really appreciate any comments and or advise you can offer to me.

My wife and I bought a pick your own blue/blackberry farm in north Texas (Bailey’s Berry Patch) now called ‘The Berry Patch’. The previous owners sprayed everything and used Round Up religiously. We on the other hand do not want to spray anything on the farm except maybe poison ivy that is on my neighbors fence every spring. I’ve got 5.5 ac. blue and 3.5 ac. of blackberries 160 fruit and nut trees with drip line to everything minus 20 trees. I will use your recipe for organic compost tea from here on out. but today I used 5 lbs of bat guano 10-0.5-2, 5 lbs of cow manure, 10 lbs of compost, 10 lbs of worm casting, 10 oz. of molasses, 32 oz. of sea weed kelp, 10 lbs of alfalfa pellets all in a 40 gal trash can with 2 aerator hoses into the bag of mix and 2 into the can. I will hook it up to the ferdigator after 48 hours of cooking time. How will this work?
